Dark Chocolate-Coconut Blocks (only 4 ingredients!)


Easy recipes, that’s what it’s about. Who can be bothered with different baking processes for different layers just to create a cake you will eat in a minute?


Eating cake is nice, but you need time to make it. Being a healthy and productive beast, you don’t have much time to make your healthy treats.

And sometimes I don’t even want cake. I like something more solid instead. Something like chocolate, cookies or nougat blocks.

The chocolate-coconut blocks are a perfect alternative. Coconut already brings a slight natural sweetness so you won’t need much sweetener. If you use Xylitol or Stevia, this could even be the perfect keto alternative.

Eating it with black tea is highly recommended.






  • 150g (7oz) coconut butter (or shredded coconut)
  • 2 Tbsp coconut oil
  • 2 Tbsp dark cocoa powder
  • 2 Tbsp maple syrup



  1. If you make your coconut butter yourself: Blend the shredded coconut for 10min until it’s paste-like.
  2. Add all the other ingredients in a food processor/ blender and mix for 3 minutes.
  3. Put it in a box and store in the fridge until solid, then cut into blocks to serve.
