Gluten Free Buckwheat Waffles. Choose your topping!

For years I’ve been searching for a perfect waffle recipe. All my low-carb tries failed. Every time I tried a recipe, it messed up the waffle iron.

I decided to not go low-carb on waffles. Instead I use buckwheat flour to make gluten-free waffles. This recipe is the first one that doesn’t mess up the waffle iron.

The waffles turn out perfect!

I don’t put any sweetener into the batter. Instead I use a fruit, peanut butter or maple syrup to top it. You can try this berry creamcheese filling: Just mix 2 tablespoons of low fat creamcheese of choice with frozen berries.

Enjoy your waffle sandwich 🙂
