Orange Chocolate Porridge


Orange Chocolate! Can it be more British? Yes, if you combine it with porridge 😀

I have to admit, during my many travels to England I figured out that the British have a taste for weird food combinations. Who gets the idea to create all these weird food combinations, like a full English breakfast? But, in the end, it turns out pretty tasty.

Orange and chocolate are a weird combination I think. Maybe that’s the reason why I hadn’t tried it in a long time. Every time I saw orange chocolate in the shop I was curious about it. It made me curious enough that I bought it as a present for my younger sibling.

Just after buying it, I was asking my friend Pietro Menga if it’s even tasty. His response: “Bro… it is f***in’ AMAZING!”

Inspired by that I had to find an option to get the taste in a healthier context. So, I created this easy made orange chocolate porridge and it is f***in’ AMAZING!

We already know when to eat carbs so this one is great for breakfast, pre- and post-workout.



  • 100ml hazelnut milk
  • 2 pcs dark chocolate (I use 90% Lindt chocolate)
  • 5 Tbsp. oatmeal
  • 1 small orange


  1. Heat up the milk an oatmeal in a pot and stir until it has a creamy texture
  2. Add the juice of ½ -1 pressed orange and rasped orange peel of ¼ orange
  3. Add the chocolate and stir until completely melted

Note: Add orange juice or oatmeal to adjust the texture to your taste. You can use any milk substitute you want, but hazelnut milk tastes best for this combination.
