Post-Workout Banana Fudge Brownie

img_1766

I ask myself every time after I train: What should I eat/snack today right after the workout?

Let me just go home, grab something from the fridge and just eat! I know the first thing to eat after training is simple carbs. If there is a good time for simple carbs, it’s right after your workout.

A banana is a great post-workout snack, providing you with simple carbs and potassium. But no, sometimes I just want to eat cake!

A cheat meal is always better after your workout. If you want to eat brownies, do it after a workout. Still, it isn’t recommended to do it often.

I was asking myself one question: What if I include the banana and make it a natural brownie? Well… I guess NOW I CAN EAT BROWNIES AFTER EVERY WORKOUT 😀

And I want it to be as chocolatey and fudgy as it gets! (I love dark chocolate by the way)

The only problem I have when making these brownies: I can’t finish the baking process. I sometimes eat the batter before baking because it’s sooo tasty. Refrigerated it’s like a chocolate mousse.

Bananas give sweetness to everything. If you like dark chocolate, you won’t need to add any sweetener. Of course, you can add a bit of sweetener like coconut blossom sugar if the banana doesn’t make it sweet enough for you. You can also add more banana for more sweetness and moisture.

Be careful, this isn’t something you should overeat, but at least it’s some brownie you can have after your workout without feeling guilty.
